The airline was founded on November 30, 1994 and started operations in 1995 [1]. Since 2001, the business has been split up into autonomous three units: "Global Cargo Net", "Global Cargo Handling Services" and "Global Freighter Operations". Meanwhile a reorganisation has taken place and the Sales and Handling activities have been combined under on management worldwide except Germany. There are three areas: The America's, Europe and Africa and Asia Pacific. Germany is still separated in Handling and Sales. [citation needed]
