Ludlow is a village in Champaign County, Illinois, United States. The population was 324 at the 2000 census.

Ludlow is located at 40°23′10″N, 88°7′37″W (40.386248, -88.126856)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 324 people, 141 households, and 83 families residing in the village. The population density was 357.4/km² (932.2/mi²). There were 153 housing units at an average density of 168.8/km² (440.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 96.60% White, 2.47% African American, and 0.93% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.31% of the population.

There were 141 households out of which 27.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.4% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 41.1% were non-families. 36.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.30 and the average family size was 2.98.

In the village the population was spread out with 27.2% under the age of 18, 6.8% from 18 to 24, 33.6% from 25 to 44, 21.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 105.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.3 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $35,000, and the median income for a family was $41,875. Males had a median income of $37,917 versus $19,643 for females. The per capita income for the village was $19,507. About 9.1% of families and 15.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 19.4% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.
