[edit] Summary

This is a scan from a 35mm photo which I took in the mid 1970s at Ludlow, Shropshire, England. It shows a mediaeval wood carving of a "Green Man", one of two almost identical figures on a misericord in the parish church. The picture was originally monochrome and has been sepia-toned.

This scan is in the Public Domain (however, I retain ownership and copyright of the original negative and any higher-resolution scans derived from it).

If this image is used outside Wikipedia a photographer's credit (Simon Garbutt) would be much appreciated!
