Lucknow Times
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Lucknow Times is a free daily supplement of The Times of India Lucknow edition, only in Lucknow city.
It covers celebrity gossip and dos, movies and other stuff of local interest, leaving the main paper to cover national news. Of late, it has also been doing some stories oriented towards consumer welfare. It is edited by Manjula Negi. "Lucknow Times" is similar to "Delhi Times" and "Bombay Times"; 'glamour' supplements which come along with every local edition of The Times of India, and are known to have more froth than substance. These supplements have introduced a policy of paid articles: you can pay them to publish an article about you; it will not look like an advertisement but an article selected by the editorial board. Indian media critics find this unethical.
