Lucid Inc. was a software development company.
Lucid ID is a software package for making ID keys, used in biological sciences.
Lucid Information Systems is an information management, and consultation company. Algorithms which manage dataflow are currenlty in production.
Lucid is also the name of the advert production company, owned by SMG plc.

Lucid is a dataflow programming language. It is designed to experiment with non-von Neumann programming models. It was designed by Bill Wadge and Ed Ashcroft and described in the book Lucid, the Dataflow Programming Language.

It employed several techniques from functional programming. Several languages evolved from Lucid. Original Lucid is no longer maintained or used.
