Lucas Glover

Lucas Glover born November 12, 1979 in Greenville, South Carolina is an American golfer.
He attended Clemson University from 1998 until 2001. During his Clemson career he was named an 1st Team All-America in 2000 and 2001. He was a member of the 2001 United States Walker Cup team and turned professional later that year.
Glover played on the Nationwide Tour in 2002 and 2003, winning the Gila River Classic in the late in the year and finishing 17th on the Money List to earn promotion to the PGA Tour.
In 2004, Glover played in 30 events on the PGA Tour making 17 cuts and posting two Top 10 finished. Glover finished in 134th position on the money list with $557,453. He was forced to go back to Q School, where he was on the outside looking in until he knocked his approach shot to within two feet on the final hole to regain his card.
In 2005, Glover broke through with is first career PGA Tour victory at the FUNAI Classic at the Walt Disney World Resort by jarring a 35 yard bunker shot on the 18th for birdie. Glover went on to finish 30th on the money list and earning $2,050,068.
In 2006, Glover had nine Top 10 finishes and finished 21st on the money list. He has been ranked in and out of the Top 50 of Official World Golf Rankings, currently coming in at #43. Glover is also ranked 6th on the Presidents Cup points list coming into the 2006 Ryder Cup.
