Talk:Luanda
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"In 1889 the basis for a major growth of Luanda was laid as Governor Brito Capelo opened the gates of an aqueduct which supplied the city with water, a formerly scarce resource. After this a good deal of unexpected growth increased dramatically towards 1975, with high-points such as an 1872 report which called Luanda the "Paris of Africa" for the growth that the city had shown."
That sentence doesn't make any sense, so I'm changing 1872 to 1972, which would make much more sense. /130.235.57.231 22:25, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
Luanda is the smallest city of Angola, not the largest. Joaquim Quino
Umm... 'Joaquim Quino', obviously you are hideously misinformed. Luanda is far from being the smallest city of Angola. Think before you post. Samoen 17:16, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
