[edit] Power Outage
On November 10, 2006,at 10:50 a.m., Loyola experienced a Power Outage, which caused students to act ironically. After one student had been severely injured from a flying garbage can, fire and emergency services had been called. Students were sent home after many failed attempts to reset the power. The school was re-opened on November 13, 2006. *Crime stoppers had offered a 200 dollar award for a anominous tip for the person who threw the garbage can at the student.
