Nothing has been announced about a name change. The only indictation is the redirection of the former lock monsters website to lowelldevilshockey.com. The site only refers to the team as the "AHL's Lowell, Mass., franchise". As far as anyone is concerned: the domain name could just be a temporary placeholder for the Devil's AHL team in Lowell whose moniker is TBD. ccwaters 15:53, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

There was an article in the Lowell Sun regarding the name change for next year, sometime in early to mid-June 2006.--Azathar 02:10, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
