Lowry Hill East, Minneapolis

Lowry Hill East is a neighborhood in western Minneapolis, Minnesota. LHE is part of the Calhoun Isles community. It is bound on the east by Lyndale Avenue, on the West by Hennepin Avenue and on the south by Lake Street. Lyndale and Hennepin intersect on the northern side at Interstate 94. This creates a neighborhood roughly in the shape of a right triangle also known as "the Wedge". The southern half of Lowry Hill East (and indeed much of Minneapolis south of Franklin Avenue and west of Nicollet Avenue) is part of what is referred to as Uptown. The Wedge is bordered on the Northeast by Loring Park and Stevens Square, to the east by Whittier, Southeast by Lyndale, South by Carag, Southwest by ECCO, West by East Isles and Northwest by Lowry Hill.
