Lower Merion School District

Lower Merion School District, or LMSD, is a public school district located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The school district includes residents of both Lower Merion Township and the Borough of Narberth. Established in 1836, LMSD is one of the oldest districts in Pennsylvania. Ten schools comprise the district:
- Harriton High School
- Lower Merion High School
- Bala Cynwyd Middle School
- Welsh Valley Middle School
- Belmont Hills Elementary School
- Cynwyd Elementary School[1], an elementary school that borders Bala Cynwyd Middle School. As of 2006, the principal of the school is Ms. Connie Dimedio and the school has 445 students.[2]
- Gladwyne Elementary School
- Merion Elementary School
- Penn Valley Elementary School
- Penn Wynne Elementary School
