Lower Great Southern

The Lower Great Southern is a statistical division in Western Australia roughly 400km south-east of the capital city of Perth. It is located within the Great Southern region of Western Australia.

It includes the shires of Albany and Plantagenet, and the townships of Cranbrook, Tenterden, Mount Barker, Denmark, Rocky Gully, Narrikup and Porongurup.

The region is noted for including many world-famous Wineries.
