- Hey, no problem. Unfortunately, I only rarely upload any images, so I'm not entirely sure myself. I think the help desk (that I linked above) is the right place to go. By the way, you don't need to sign edits you make in an article. Signing is just considered good form when writing on a talk page or casting a vote. Best, Choess 05:56, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Nomo2_002_svp.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Nomo2_002_svp.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 13:17, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to the Wikipedia
Welcome, newcomer!
Here are some useful tips to ease you into the Wikipedia experience:
- First, take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial, and perhaps dabble a bit in the test area.
- When you have some free time, take a look at the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines. They can come in very handy!--TimVickers 02:35, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- Remember to use a neutral point of view!
- If you need any help, feel free to post a question at the Help Desk
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Also, here are some odds and ends that I find useful from time to time: Talk
