Lovefoxxx

Lovefoxxx (stage name of Luísa Hanaê Matsushita, born in February 25, 1984 in Campinas, Brazil) is the Japanese-Brazilian lead singer of indie-electro band Cansei de Ser Sexy. Before she reached superstardom as the lead singer of CSS, Foxxx was already a cool club celebrity in her hometown, known for her coloured dresses and sometimes criticized by the public as a fake teen poseur.
An illustrator and fashion design assistant since the age of 16, she has abandoned her old job to better dedicate herself to the band. In 2005 she co-hosted an infomercial about mobile ringtones aired through free-to-air Brazilian SBT network.
She is known for stage diving many times during the band's concerts and intense live performance.
In 2006, Lovefoxxx was voted #10 in NME's annual Cool List, and has recently been dating Dev from The Test Icicles.

[edit] Solo album
According to Sub Pop managers, Lovefoxxx' first solo album should be released in late 2007. The project's current working title is Luv 2 Luv U Foxxxy, and rumoured songs to appear on the record are RiotGrrrl of Ass is Dick, Stage Diving at Jessica's Wedding, I'm the Greatest, Why bother to learn music properly?, The cool is all that matters and Fuck In, Fuck Off, Doesn't Matter, I'm Thorn. The album is being produced by Timbaland and Nigel Godrich after some initial demos were recorded by band mate Adriano Cintra.
The video for Stage Diving at Jessica's Wedding, directed by Cat Solen, will reportedly feature Jessica and Ashlee Simpson look-a-likes, as well as CSS band mate Carolina Parra.

Lovefoxxx' first book, The Cool Is All That Matters, will be released concurrently to the solo album, and should contain self made pictures, tour memories, illustrations and coolness.

Lovefoxxx has had a public feud with Janet Jackson[1], which began when Foxxx made jokes openly about the singer's rhinoplasties. Jackson later criticized Foxxx' fashion parameters. A drunk Foxxx' answer was that nowadays her hits were bigger than Janet's. Love later sported a Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation T-shirt during one of her band's concerts to stop the feud [2]. She also declared during an interview that she would like to meet Janet in person [3].
