[edit] The song
"Love's Got a Hold on My Heart" was a hit single for Steps, a pop group from the UK. The video was shot in the south of France, as the group (dressed in yellow outfits) chase a man who has stolen the film reel for "Steps: The Movie".
The single's B-side song is "To Be Your Hero".
[edit] Chart Success
The single narrowly missed out the #1 spot, losing out to Latin pop singer Ricky Martin. Spending 12 weeks on the British charts, this single is the group's only single to fall off the charts for two consecutive weeks and then re-enter.
