There are conflicts regarding date of completion and length of construction time:

• Lousiana State Legislature (http://house.legis.state.la.us/pubinfo/virtual%20tour/lacaphistory.htm)
• National Park Service (http://www.cr.nps.gov/nr/travel/louisiana/cap.htm)

Two pages say it was completed May 1932, one page says March 1932; two pages say 14 months of construction, one page says 29 months.

Also, is there any standing assumption concering the licensing of images provided on state and federal government sites? There are images available on those locations (e.g. http://house.legis.state.la.us/pubinfo/virtual%20tour/dayshot.jpg) but I am unsure as to the policy and attribution on these images. --Sertrel 09:06, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
