Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSUS) is a branch of the Louisiana State University System in Shreveport, Louisiana. Opened in 1967, it is located in southeast Shreveport on a campus housing more than 4,200 students.

LSUS grants undergraduate and graduate degrees at the masters and specialist degree levels. It is the only public four year university in the Shreveport metro area. The school includes the Colleges of Business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education and Human Development.

The school is a commuter school with no on-campus dorms. The university does, however, have its own housing in the form of apartments, located at the northwestern edge of the campus.
