Louisiana Highway 47 (LA 47) is a state highway located in New Orleans and Chalmette. It lasts for 16.19 miles, nearly all as a four lane, divided highway.

From the north, LA 47 (Hayne Blvd.) begins at an intersection with Downman Road in New Orleans East, heading east-northeast. LA 47 runs alongside Lake Ponchartrain until it veers towards the south and changes to Paris Road. LA 47 then crosses Interstate 10 and becomes Interstate 510, which also crosses U.S. Highway 90. LA 47 crosses over the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet and enters St. Bernard Parish. LA 47/Paris Road then continues, heading south-southwestward, intersecting LA 39 and ending at a junction with LA 46.
