Louise Rennison (born Leeds, Yorkshire, UK) is a humorous British author and comedian most known for being the author of the best-selling Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series for teenage girls. This series records the exploits of a teenage girl, Georgia Nicolson, and her best friends, the Ace Gang. She is also a major contributor of comedy scripts. Her one-woman live show Stevie Wonder felt my face ran in the 1990s.

She lives in Brighton, which she describes as "The San Francisco of England". In her past, she has also resided in various places in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
