Louis Jacinto was born (1955) and raised by Harriet Padilla and Catalino Jacinto in Bakersfield, California. He moved to Los Angeles, California on October 1, 1975 to begin his third year of college at California State University Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.

Currently, Louis Jacinto has had two published works, "Spirit, Concrete, Earth", a poetry collection, and PUNKROCK LOSANGELES, a photobook of early punk rock bands in Los Angeles.
