Louis Frémaux

Louis Frémaux (born August 13, 1921 in Aire-sur-Ia-Lys, France) is a French conductor. He was conductor of the CBSO (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra) immediately before Simon (later Sir Simon) Rattle.

He was previously Chief Conductor of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and before that, the Orchestra of the Monte Carlo Opera.
