Louis Carey

Louis Carey (born January 22, 1977 in Bristol) is a Scottish defender currently playing for Bristol City.

He made his City debut in 1995 and was a regular in the first team until a stallment in a new contract allowed Coventry City to sign Louis on a free transfer.

He spent 6 months at Highfield Road and was in and out of the Coventry first team until then City manager Brian Tinnion signed him back after his contract was cancelled.

He was made Bristol City captain after the inprisonment of Steve Brooker and has held on to the position since.

Scored the winning goal against Swansea and a once against Gillingham in 2006
