Lotan (Stargate)

Lotan is a character from the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1, who appeared in the episode "Scorched Earth". Lotan is a bio-mechanical entity created by a terraforming ship constructed by the Gadmeer to recreate the Gadmeer civilization. Lotan's purpose was to persuade the Enkarans to evacuate their world designated P5S-381 before the terraforming ship destroyed them. Lotan was created to resemble the Enkarans in the hope that he would have better success in persuading them to leave their world.
In the end, Lotan compromises and comes to an agreement with the help of SG-1 to transport the Enkarans to their original homeworld and continue terraforming the planet after they are gone. As he is now one of the Enkarans (At least technically), he is invited to stay with them while the ship runs on 'automatic', and accepts the offer.
