[edit] Blocked
I have removed the unblock from your page since your block has expired. I know you request no editing of this page, but it is not appropriate to have that template on your page when you are not blocked. Also, the purpose of a talk page is for others to talk to you, your policy could become a serious problem, and as you have discovered, if you are persistent in acting contrary to Wikipedia policy, you may end up blocked again. We really are here to help, I am sure you will learn as you go. Feel free to ask for help at any time. Cheers, NoSeptember talk 01:34, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. And btw, welcome to Wikipedia and welcome to Esperanza. Have fun editing :-). NoSeptember talk 02:16, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

I would be glad to help if you describe your problem to me.--digital_me(Talk)(Contribs) 01:01, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your block
As it said on your block message, 17:21, April 30, 2006 Zoe blocked "Lord Dude (contribs)" with an expiry time of 24 hours (repeated recreation of Phillip Bartlett) . User:Zoe|(talk) 01:43, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: User:Zoe
You were blocked because you recreated a deleted page, with essentially the same content. The proper way to go about recreating a deleted page is to discuss it on the talk page for the article before recreating it. I am not going to get involved in this, because I really have no relation whatsoever to this issue. If you were looking for a neutral third party to mediate, then I would suggest going to WP:RfM, but this issue really isn't serious enough for an RfM. I suggest that in the mean time, you discuss the issue with Zoe, and please remember to be civil. Regards. --digital_me(Talk)(Contribs) 02:47, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Read Wikipedia:Notability, which explains a lot about how notable a person must be to have an article about them here, and how to convey that notability in your articles. NoSeptember talk 03:26, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Zoe
I'll try but MegamanZero is in trouble with breaching the 3RR rule, which usually merits a tempoary block. Why did you decide to come back? ¬_¬ I'll ask Zoe.
Anyway, it's the morning, where is the profanity on The JPS's userpage? It's not obvious. Cheers, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 07:02, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blocking
Only an admin can block a user, which is done by going to Special:Blockip/Username.--digital_me(Talk)(Contribs) 00:42, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Admin
To become an admin, you have to have an WP:RfA. Generally, this requires around at least 1000 edits (some users look for upwards of 3000), and a real commitment to Wikipedia. You also need to have been around for a while (at least 4 months), but you can judge for yourself by looking here.--digital_me(Talk)(Contribs) 03:01, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Right
Someone keeps answering my questions while I sleep. Yes, you are ready for Esperanza. You have over 150 edits and have been here for over 2 weeks. --GeorgeMoneyTalk Contribs 01:10, 3 May 2006 (UTC Cheers, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 07:05, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, fine. I won't answer your questions, but it is so tempting to answer them. --GeorgeMoneyTalk Contribs 07:11, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sig
Do you want any specific colours or words, or do you want some words up in the air? Cheers, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:48, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Right, go to My preferences at the top of the page (in the line next to your watchlist and talk page links). Go to Nickname and replace what's there with this -
Lord Dude|Talk to me!
Now, directly below the Nickname space where you've put that, you'll saw a box that has the words Raw signature next to it. You have to click that for this to work. After you've selected that box, click Save. It should work now.

[edit] Welcome to Esperanza!
Welcome, Lord Dude, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of JoanneB, FireFox and Titoxd. The next set of elections will be in April, we will keep you updated about the results. Because you are a new member, you are not able to vote in these elections, but you will be more than welcome to take part in the elections in June.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC Tutorial written by one of our members. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

[edit] Hello!
[edit] A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
