I have yet to make any serious contributions to Wikipedia, but I am increasingly persuaded of its value. I hope to make some modest contributions in the future. My research interests are primarily in political philosophy (theories of justice, deliberative democracy, John Rawls and liberalism, evolutionary game theory), political science (federalism, global governance, urban issues, statistics), and epistemology (bayesian decision theory). I have broader interests in ethics, mathematics and logic, evolutionary theory, economic theory, rock climbing and mountaineering, literature, folk music, ambient electronica, early music and baroque flute. I am an assistant professor of political science at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada, and hold a doctorate from M.I.T. in political science. My earlier studies were in political science and philosophy at the University of Toronto.
