Um ... don't look now, but ... this article is not about the Dr Suess character, as the tagline at the top suggests.

The article gives great detail on how the rover was tested on a Lake Michigan frozen lake in 2005 ... but what happened since then? What's the future plans for the project? I assume they intend to take it to Antarctica sometime. Any details on when? If not, say so ... and, how do they intend for it to get there without tampering with the projects and potentially contaminating results? Will a rocket send it into orbit, so it may be dropped onto Antarctica like a rover dropped onto any other frozen planet?

[edit] Travel(l)ing in the past

Hi Hydrargyrum- Don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not. A note: "traveled" and "travelled" are both accepted spellings. I think the second one, which I prefer but am not married to, may be more old-fashioned. I'm using this more as a chance to learn the edit/talk/discuss features than to launch a passionate defense of double-l-ing.

That's what the spelling check in Microsoft Word flagged, using the U.S. English dictionary. I spell it either way on occasion, too. If you don't like it, change it back. —Quicksilver^{T @} 17:50, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

No need to change anything on my talk page. I tend to leave comments there, good or bad, as a running history. However, leaving a comment there to get my attention is OK. I don't watch all the pages I've edited, and may not return to look at them for months, if ever. So, the only way to get my attention regarding them is to leave something on my talk page so that I get alerted next time I log into Wikipedia.
