Lory

Not to be confused with Lorry.

A lory is any of about 30 species of small, fast-moving parrot from southern Asia and New Guinea. See lorikeet.

The Lory is also a character appearing in Chapters 2 and 3 of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, a reference to Lorina Liddell, Alice's sister.
