Lorne Frohman

Lorne Frohman is a screenwriter and producer of various feature films, variety shows, and sitcoms. He created the eight time Emmy Award nominated Pryor's Place starring Richard Pryor. Additional credits include D. C. Follies, Dame Edna's Hollywood, Fernwood 2Nite, and the Jay Leno specials.
Frohman also was nominated for a Gemini Award for his writing work on "The Rimshots" starring Catherine O'Hara and Dave Thomas.
He is currently the Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Television Writing and Producing program at Humber College, Lakeshore Campus, in Toronto, Canada.[1]
Due to an apparent misprint, a document published by Humber College stated that Mr. Frohman had won eight Emmy's when in fact these were nominations. This error was unfortunately propagated in further external publications.
Frohman is the host of the Humber College student production of Distinguished Artists, an in-depth interview show focusing on arts and entertainment.
