Lorica

Lorica is a Latin word literally meaning body armour and may refer to:
- A number of types of Roman armour:
- Lorica hamata, a hauberk of chainmail
- Lorica manica, armguard
- Lorica squamata, a shirt of metal scales
- Lorica plumata, a shirt of ribbed scales resembling feathers
- Lorica segmentata, a cuirass of metal plates
- A religious incantation
- Loriga, Serra da Estrela in central Portugal, originally named Lorica by the Romans
- A basket-shaped "house" formed by choanoflagellates
- Alorica, a telecommunications company of call centers, sometimes verbally abbreviated to 'Lorica
- Santa Cruz de Lorica, a small Colombian town in the province of Córdoba
- A type of artificial leather used by SIDI (an Italian motorcycle gear company).
