[edit] At the Temple

Lorian took the Sith Holocron from the Jedi Archives and it was found by his friend, Count Dooku and soon later by Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis in Lorian's room. Not wanting to be caught as the one who stole the Holocron, he blames Dooku. This act was taken to the council and Lorian was expelled from the Jedi Temple for blaming another Jedi and for lying.

[edit] A space pirate

Thirteen years after being expelled, Lorian became a space pirate and started kidnapping senators for ransom and releasing them shortly after. While trying to capture a senator he ran into Count Dooku and his padawan Qui-Gon Jinn. After this encounter with the Jedi, Lorian went to his hideout on the planet Von-Alai. The Jedi soon arrive on Von-Alai, but with his droids and the fact that there were children in the room, the Jedi surrender. Shortly after surrendering, the Jedi escape from their holding place and go after Lorian. A lightsaber battle erupts between Lorian and the Jedi. Lorian loses and is handed over to Coruscant security along with Eero who helped him in the kidnappings.

[edit] On Junction 5

Thirty-two years on from his time as a space pirate, Lorian has become the head of a group called the Guardians. Lorian had proposed the idea for the Guardians to the leader of Junction 5, and was appointed as its head. On their way back to the Temple from their mission on Telos, Qui-Gon Jinn and his padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi landed on Junction 5 to refuel and ran into Lorian. Then he told Obi-Wan about how he "left" the Jedi. When the Jedi parted with Lorian, Qui-Gon could feel a disturbance in the Force, which, as the Jedi would later learn, according to Lorian meant that another planet was building a weapon against Junction 5. With the help of Cilia Dil, the Jedi were able to tell Junction 5 the truth and once again Lorian was sent to jail.

[edit] Lorian Nod in the Clone Wars

Twenty-three years after his Guardians days, Lorian is now the ruler of Junction 5 and on the side of the Galactic Republic. Lorian goes to the Temple to tell the Jedi of his meeting with Dooku who wants Samish Kash (the ruler of Delaluna) and him to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Jedi Master Yoda assigns Obi-Wan Kenobi and his padawan Anakin Skywalker to protect Lorian on Null but they have to do it in secret. On Null, Lorian and Kash meet with Count Dooku, but after the meeting, Kash is killed. It is later revealed that Kash faked his death and was in love with Floria, one of his two bodyguards. During the second meeting with Dooku, Dooku sends Battle Droids into the room to kill the founders of Station 88 spaceport and the Jedi. As Dooku tries to escape, Lorian confronts him and they engage in battle, but the Force had left Lorian in the past and was only slowly coming back. As Lorian tries to damage Dooku's ship, Dooku throws his lightsaber, stabbing Lorian in the back and killing him. After defeating the Battle Droids, Obi-Wan finds Lorian's body calling him more of a Jedi than at the last.
