Lorenzo Cardinal Lauri (15 October 1864-8 October 1941) was Camerlengo from 1939-1941 and an Italian Roman Catholic Cardinal Priest.
He was born in Rome and was ordained a priest on 4 June 1887. On 5 Janurary 1917 52.2 he was Appointed Titular Archbishop of the see of Ephesus by Pope Benedict XV. On 25 May 1921 he was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Poland. On 20 December 1926 he was created Cardinal-Priest of S. Pancrazio and that same day resigned as Nunico to Poland. On 31 July 1927 he was appointed Major Penitentiary of Apostolic Penitentiary by Pope Pius XI. On 11 December 1939 he was apponted to fill the gap left after the election of Pope Pius XII as Chamberlain (Camerlengo) of the Holy Roman Church.
