[edit] Abilities
- Lord Fear has a Mister Fantastic-like ability, allowing him to stretch his limbs to great lengths, and wrap them around his foes and suffocate them in a move like a boa constrictor.
- Lord Fear has amazing skills in both organ playing and golf, despite never having a known lesson for either.
- Staff Head, Lord Fear's loyal weapon, can fire energy blasts from the orb on his head at foes.
- In the Ace Lightning videogame Lord Fear has the power to revive his defeated minions at will.
[edit] Staff Head
Staff Head is Lord Fear's best friend and loyal servant, serving as a weapon and a walking stick. He resembles a fat winged toad perched on a stick holding a glass orb above his head. Staff Head can fire energy blasts from the orb on his head, and in his previous form, he could turn his wooden body into a slithering snake-like body. Staff Head blackmailed Lady Illusion into doing his dirty work, as he had discovered her fling with Ace.
In Season 2, Staff Head's appearance was altered to make him look for frog-like and more realistic. He was given teeth, a new fat warty body, larger wings, and moveable legs and arms.
His vision of life would be watching the television without Kilobyte bossing his master around. He has a cousin named Benny.
[edit] The Doom Wagon
After achieving to get Mr. Chesebrough onto his side, Lord Fear was awarded the Doom Wagon by Kilobyte. The Doom Wagon is an odd flying machine that resembles some sort of futuristic motorbike with an open coffin for the seat and a chainsaw mounted onto the front. Lord Fear now uses the Doom Wagon to fly around, instead of using Duff's ice cream truck.
[edit] History
Ace and Lord Fear have been enemies for many years now, and nothing will probably stop their rivalry. Lord Fear also gained a limp at some point, thanks to Ace. It is hinted in the first episode that Ace and Fera used to friends, but Ace accidentally gave him the limp. In the game, it claims Lord Fear was imprisoned by the Lightning Knights, but escaped and stole the Amulet of Zoar, but Ace caught up to him and shattered the Amulet. Lord Fear along with his minions, fled through a portal into our world, followed by Ace. Lord Fear set up camp in the Kent Bros. Carnival, owned by Duff Kent. Lord Fear soon took over the carnival and began operations to destroy Ace.
Throughout the first series, Lord Fear concucted clever plots to snag Ace's pieces of the Amulet, but all his plans failed. Although he did get several pieces and summoned Googler to the world, Lord Fear failed to obtain Ace's fragments of the Amulet. Eventually, Dirty Rat found the final piece of the Amulet and rebelled against Lord Fear, the other minions soon following. Lord Fear collected all the pieces of the Amulet, with a little help from Lady Illusion and Dirty Rat (who decided to rejoin Fear).
Lord Fear and his minions grew in strength while the Lightning Knights' powers all began to fade. Ace, Sparx and Random ventured into the carnival and fought back against Lord Fear, until they were nearly destroyed. But Mark discovered the Amulet hidden in the Haunted House and shattered, causing a chain reaction to flow through Lord Fear and his minions, destroying them and sending them back to the Sixth Dimension, Lord Fear himself imprisoned in a skeleton doll.
Three months onwards, the Master Programmer freed Lord Fear who began to rebuild his army, rehiring Lady Illusion who had betrayed him for Ace. Lord Fear planned to destroy Lady Illusion after he'd collected the Amulet pieces once again. Lord Fear quickly rebuilt his defence, bringing Anvil, Dirty Rat and Rotgut back from the Sixth Dimension. Soon Kilobyte appeared, took over the carnival and downgraded Lord Fear into the shadows.
Lord Fear was, however, given a chance by Kilobyte to prove himself. Lord Fear convinced Mark's science teacher, Mr. Chesebrough, to join his cause, tricking him into believing Ace was an evil alien determined to conquer the world, while he himself was a good alien. As a reward for his efforts, Kilobyte created for Lord Fear the Doom Wagon, a motorbike-like hovercraft. Lord Fear put the Doom Wagon to good use by disrupting Mark's driving lesson.
Lord Fear collected two more pieces of the Amulet and summoned Pigface and Googler back from the Sixth Dimension. Kilobyte soon broke free from Rick's programming and decided to destroy the Lightning Knights and conquer the planet. Lord Fear was most disgruntled, but assisted Kilobyte in capturing Random Virus and Mr. Chesebrough. Lord Fear failed to impress Kilobyte (not to mention fail at playing a bowling match against Googler). Lord Fear decided to form an alliance with Ace to destroy Kilobyte, both of them getting what they want: Fear gets the carnival back and Ace can save humanity again.
That night, Lord Fear and Ace venture into the carnival as Kilobyte and his minions cause havoc. Lord Fear blasts down his own minions and helps Ace find Mark who is at the mercy of Kilobyte. Lord Fear, Ace and Mark all combine their powers and blast Kilobyte into the Sixth Dimension. But Lord Fear then turns on Ace and fires a new orange blast from Staff Head at Ace, knocking him to the floor. But suddenly, another Ace appears from the shadows and approaches Lord Fear. The one on the ground is really Lady Illusion in disguise. Ace and Mark chase Lord Fear away, who is last seeing flying into the sky with Dirty Rat not far behind.
Rumour has it in Season 3, Lord Fear will team up with Mr. Chesebrough for a while, but he secretly is plotting to use Chesebrough's technology to get his henchmen out of the game without the Amulet of Zoar.
[edit] In the Videogame
Lord Fear is the boss of the final world in the videogame, the Haunted House. He watches safely from a balcony while Anvil and Pigface take on Ace. If Ace defeats both of them, Lord Fear jumps down to the center of the room to bring them back to life, making himself vulnerable. He shoots out a bombardment of fireballs before flying back to the balcony.
