Lord Belhaven and Stenton

Lord Belhaven and Stenton is a Lordship in the Peerage of Scotland, which was created in 1647. In 1831 the 8th Lord was created Baron Hamilton of Wishaw in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, a title which became extinct on his death in 1868. The Lordship was briefly dormant between the death of the 8th Lord and the confirmation of the 9th Lord by the House of Lords
