Loppi

Loppi (Loppis in Swedish) is a municipality in Finland.
It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Tavastia Proper region. The municipality has a population of 7,960 (2005) and covers an area of 655.82 km² of which 57.47 km² is water. The population density is 13.1 inhabitants per km². There are three big centers in Loppi: Loppi (Kirkonkylä), Launonen and Läyliäinen. Most of the inhabitants of the municipality live in these centers.
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
