[edit] Birthplace

It would be nice to have a definitive source for his birthplace. As far as I can work out, there is no such place as East Maddon. All google hits for "East Maddon are Long John Baldry pages. East Haddon, UK on the other hand is definitely a real place in Northamptonshire. My suspicion is a typo or bad handwriting/transcription changing the H to M, which has been picked up and copied everywhere. On the other hand, the Telegraph lists his birthplace as "Haddon, Derbyshire, but grew up in London". There seem to be two Haddons in Derbyshire: Over Haddon and Nether Haddon but no East Haddon (or Maddon, for that matter). Perhaps we can just state "Haddon, England" for now.
