[edit] Dominant Sport

It is many years since I played with a team (St Kevin's of Dartford, now I believe defunct) but I was surprised at the assertion in the info panel that the dominant game in the London GAA is hurling. Granted London is higher in the leagues in hurling than in football, but I believe that that is more due to the extreme weakness of football in many hurling counties (most obviously in Kilkenny). Is it not the case that participation in Gaelic Football in London is considerably higher than in Hurling? Kevin McE 09:11, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

London have won more at hurling even an all ireland but that was a long time ago it could be argued to declare them as a dual county (Gnevin 01:10, 18 May 2006 (UTC))
