NB I wasn't logged in for the rewrite! I have rewritten the article to include the following:

  • the position of the EKR in the story of the LCDR
  • full dates for openings etc; and dividing different sections from each other
  • places amended to railway station - it IS an article about the railway after all!!
  • details of the line (eg tunnels)

Also:

  • In some cases the line opening were slightly incorrect, eg the Sheppey line went to Sheerness - the later opening of the station at the latter replaced the original terminus; similarly some lines were open before stations along it were (Dulwich is an example).
  • I have also cut out the later dates beyond 1899, since the LCDR was then no longer a separate entity: it ceased as such in 1899. The article is specifically LCDR.
