It appears we are about to have our first hung vote... obviously things may change in the next 4 days but I guess this as good a time as any to discuss what course of action is taken when 2 or more pictures have the same number of votes... Any suggestions? DJR (T) (WC) 17:10, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm... If this is still a problem at the turn of the month then my suggestion would be to promote the Paddington Station pic. It has the support of the nominator plus two other users, and although Nelson's got the same number of votes, one of them was cast by me, the nominator (sorry, I just liked it so much...) so it seems fair that it should carry less weight. I wouldn't consider the Tower and Tower Bridge pic (even though I voted for it) on the basis that, given a choice, it would be rather dull to promote pics of the same landmark two months running. Of course, if it turns out to be the most popular candidate in the next few days, I wouldn't have a problem with that – it's different enough from this month's showcase. Seems fair enough. One of the other pics has 2 support votes as well, although one has not been labelled as such (I'll correct it now). But yeah, Paddington if not. I guess Wimbledon for the SA yeah? DJR (T) (WC) 18:08, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Some suggestions
I'm not sure I want to fill out the voting procedure here (already over-committed on other areas of the wiki), but here are some other suggestions.

Hung vote #2 on its way... shall we go for Leadenhall Market, due to its appropriateness to the season as pointed out by Russ London? [talk to the] HAM 21:57, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
