Long Lost Friend
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Long Lost Friend is the English-language title of a book of magic, folk remedies, and prayers published in Pennsylvania in 1820 by Johann Georg Hohman, though his name is usually anglicized as John George Hohman. The book was originally published in German under the title Der Lange Verborgene Freund, and was first translated into English in 1846.
The Long Lost Friend has also been published under the title Pow-Wows. It is frequently mentioned in the horror stories of American author Manly Wade Wellman.
