Long Gull Pond

Long Gull Pond is a 4.5-mile-long body of water located along the Hanson Memorial Highway between Stephenville and Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland and Labrador. It is a freshwater lake stocked with fish on a regular basis by the local Stephenville Rod and Gun club. The Hanson Highway made the lake more accessible with the help of the Engineers when they were stationed at Ernest Harmon Air Force Base in the 1950s.
