Long Bay is a body of water in the North Atlantic Ocean off the North Carolina and South Carolina coasts. Its northernmost point is North Carolina's Cape Fear. It's southern most point is the southern tip of North Island near Georgetown, South Carolina and Cat Island. In South Carolina, this area is well known as the Grand Strand, a tourist destination of popular beaches and resort hotels, the most famous of which is Myrtle Beach.
