SW5 is the postcode primarily for Earls Court but also for a small portion of South Kensington, both in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It's a small area between Earl's Court Road and Warwick Road, stretching about half a mile from South to North. In its center there is the "tube" station. One exit leads to Earl's Court Road with shopping and eat/drink facilities. The other exit of the subway goes towards the famous Exhibition Centre. Earl's Court is almost exclusively a residential area, with several small hotels.
