The London Rockets Cheerleading Squad are London’s only all-girl stunt and cheer squad. They are based at Danceworks studios in central London.

The Rockets were previously named the Greenwich Mariners Cheerleaders but recently changed their name to The London Rockets however they still continue to cheer for The Greenwich Mariners who are the University of Greenwich American Football team.

The London Rockets have two International Cheerleading Federation Coaches at the head of a collaborative coaching team with experience in cheer, dance and gym. This ICF training was carried out by the UK Cheerleading Association. The Rockets are also members of the British Cheerleading Association (BCA).

The Rockets compete in both BCA and Future Cheer competitions entering stunt squads and cheer teams as well as cheering on the sidelines for the Greenwich Mariners and appearing in the media.

The Rockets have regularly been seen on both TV and Radio performances, some of which are listed below.

Soccar AM All Stars Show - Sky Sports As part of an on-air welcome party for the returning host Andy Goldstein.

Jono & Jo’s show - BBC Radio London Interview on the radio road show about cheerleading as a sport during BBC London’s focus on the 2012 Olympics.

Crisis Square Mile - City of London As cheerleaders for the thousands of runners taking part in the annual event to raise money for the homeless.

BBC World Cup Big Screen launch party - The David Beckham Academy, Greenwich Chosen to entertain the crowd, along with other entertainers, as the BBC launched it’s coverage of the 2006 World Cup

GMTV - ITV Live performance as part of a segment with Bobby Davro.

Club Together - The Metro Featured in Jennifer Cox’s coloum about the ways in which people get together in the capital.

Xtra Factor - Access all Areas, ITV 2 Performed at the start with the host Ben Shepherd and took part in the rest of the show.
