London Forum

The London Forum is a well known venue for concerts in Kentish Town, London, United Kingdom owned by Mean Fiddler Music Group. It is an historic art deco cinema, which was bought by Mean Fiddler in 1993, after previous being The Town and Country Club. It has a capacity of 2,110.
Mean Fiddler's refurbishment of the venue involved removing the ground floor cloak room, and supplementing the tables and booths on the balcony with padded benches. The ticketing policy was also changed from general admission to downstairs standing, and unreserved seating on the balcony. Many fans felt this destroyed the character of the venue.
Acts who have performed there include Van Morrison (the last artist to perform at the Town and Country Club, and the first to perform at The Forum), Prince, Fugazi (played their last show to-date here on Novemeber 4th, 2002), The Velvet Underground, Oasis, Pulp, Dru Hill, Beenie Man, Jay-Z, Sean Paul, The Libertines, Jamiroquai, Neurosis, Einstürzende Neubauten and Billy Corgan; most recently, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand ,Arctic Monkeys and recent Eurovision winners, Lordi, have performed at the venue. The Vines, The Kooks and Gary Numan will be performing in the near future.
