[edit] History
This route dates back to 1949 when it ran between Peckham and Hounslow. By 1981, serious disruptions to the service caused by ever increasing congestion and other operating difficulties resulted in the splitting of the route into two sections. In 1991 the western section was withdrawn and replaced by route 337.
[edit] Current route
On 12 August 2006, it was announced that the route would be extended to Putney Heath. A date has not been set.
