[edit] Lois plot

At Lucky Aide secret shoppers make their performance reviews. Lois finds out that she performs poorly in appearances and is forced to dress up her appearance. She is digusted by the fact that she has to go around with so much make-up on, though it seems Hal dosen't mind a bit... After she "dresses up" her appearance, many of the Men at the Lucky Aide start paying more attention to her, which consequently, causes a change in her behavior in which she starts taking advantage of the attention. She finally realizes what she has become after her boss says she must make herself a "little prettier" to be considered for a promotion. In the end, this leads to an awkward situation when a man, (apparently Lois' Boss' Brother-in-Law) mistakes her at the roadside for a hooker. After Lois removes the make-up, she is seen wearing a baseball cap (backwards), which once again sets Hal off...

[edit] Reese, Dewey, Malcolm and Hal plot

Reese, Dewey and Malcolm have been playing basketball with Hal, as long as they can remember, according to Malcolm. It's a 1-on-3 game and is 300-0 in favor of Hal. After their latest defeat, they realized they needed a new strategy. Dewey then shoots a basket, impressing both Malcolm and Reese. After this, they say that they intend to use Dewey as their secret weapon.

The next time the boys play with Hal, they beat him. Hal then becomes confused, but soon starts playing dirty to ensure his victory over the boys. Hal won the game, and the three were left dumbfounded. The three boys discuss Hal's drive to win, at any cost after the game. After several practices of unstoppable plays, the boys play again using the tactics they developed, but the Hal started to play as dirty as possible, even going so far as to pull down Reese's pants in the middle of the game. A few minutes later, Hal falls and supposedly "hurts" his ankle while doing his trademark jumpshot. The boys see this as a faking, as Hal would never ever give in to his sons in Basketball. Later on, Hal comes back from work, limping. He sees the basketball lying on the ground, and he picks it up and does his trademark jumpshot, not hurt at all. He then sees Dewey looking at him from behind the garage door.

Then, after confronting Hal for the final time, the boys started playing Hal again. The game was close, and both Hal and the boys were playing exceptionally well. Then, just as the teams were tied, Hal announced that the next point would win the game. The boys then huddle together and agree on doing "the play", which they only practiced once. As Hal is about to dunk the ball, Dewey climbs on top of Malcolm, who climbs on top of Reese, and they punch Hal in the groin just as he is about to dunk. Then, Malcolm grabs the ball from Hal as he falls over, and passes it to Dewey, who puts it in the basket. Dewey then announces, "The future is now, old man." and the boys win the game.
