Lohaghat is a town and a nagar panchayat in Champawat district in the Indian state of Uttaranchal.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Lohaghat had a population of 5828. Males constitute 56% of the population and females 44%. Lohaghat has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 75%. In Lohaghat, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
