Logia Lautaro

The Lautaro Lodge (Logia Lautaro in Spanish)) was founded by Francisco de Miranda. Its main purpose was to establish independent governments in colonial Latin America. The Lodge is named after Mapuche leader Lautaro.

Membership of the Lautaro Lodge included many independence leaders such as Bernardo O'Higgins and José de San Martín.
