Loenen aan de Vecht (52°13′N 5°1′E) is the main town in the municipality of Loenen. It lies about 10 km west of Hilversum.

In 2001, the village of Loenen aan de Vecht had 3234 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.59 km², and contained 1328 residences.[1]
