Lodomeria
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lodomeria is the Latinized name of Volodymyr-Volhynia, a medieval Ruthenian principality, which was part of Halych-Volhynia in the 13th and 14th centuries. The name was always used together with Galicia (see article for details), the Latin name for Halych.
From 1772 to 1918 Lodomeria was officially an Austrian province, although it only existed on paper. It had no territory and could not be found on any map.
